Inherited a Laravel app?
Most of the Laravel applications we maintain were built by someone else. The previous developer does not need to be available, and missing documentation is normal — if even the repository is gone, the code can be recovered from the production server. We audit access and code first, stabilise anything urgent, then take on ongoing maintenance.

Slow Laravel application? Fixed without a rebuild
A slow Laravel application rarely needs rewriting. It usually has four or five ordinary causes stacked together: pages running far more queries than they need, indexes that were never added, search running through the database, infrastructure nobody revisited. We measure, fix the causes one by one and verify the result on production.
On two live travel websites, a search page went from about 17 seconds to about 1 second, and a listing page from 1,072 database queries to 222 (1.21 seconds to 425 milliseconds). The causes we find most often are in why Laravel applications get slow.
